Dr. Zef G. Markaj is a foot and ankle surgeon with advanced surgical training and experience in reconstructive care, minimally invasive procedures, diabetic limb preservation, wound care, sports injuries and foot and ankle trauma.
He founded AAMMO around a belief that medicine should extend beyond the clinical encounter. His vision is to integrate healthcare professionals, preventive education, community screening, early detection, navigation and trusted partnerships so people can better understand their health and connect with appropriate care.
As Founding President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Markaj leads AAMMO’s strategy, community initiatives and long-term development with a focus on practical access, multidisciplinary collaboration and enduring community health.
